Winter catch?

Hey folks, I was down at portmuck on monday with some rag and lug but yet again no joy!!

Is it just the wrong time of year for this area or are there any techniques someone can share to boost the catch rate??

What type of fish are around this time of year from the rocks?

we were out at Hunters rocks on Monday and had some good sport with doggies and Bullm Huss, i suggest you look over the shore reports on the main site for info on fishing around the area mentioned, you can also check the posts here on the forum, but i have heard of the odd Cod and the normal pollock and flatties from this mark along with whiting and that,
