Bait Please look :)

Postby Darren on Sun Jul 12, 2009 11:54 pm

Ok people i have recently got in touch with some frozen bait companys, also live bait diggers,, and i have been considering selling the bait on myself, via ebay (24 delivery), and simply distributing from the house.

Like i think as my overheads will be very low, i will be able to pass the saving on in the baits etc.

Could you please post the average price you pay for bait? Ie Ragworm, how many per bag etc, mackeral, how much per pack?

Many thanks people

Not top secret mate Larne Angling Centre he supplies most of the tackle shops across N Ireland but he also sells directly out of his own shop and that's what he charges for them all the other shops put their own wee bit on as mark up and also split the bags and sell smaller amounts.

I have seen and heard about how much it costs around the NW and I would not pay that amount for it when I shore fished Downhill & Benone allot a few years back I knew a lot of others who fished it and who were local and I would bring them rag up when I was going they could not believe what they were getting for that price.

It seems a lot of people are being ripped off when it comes to buying rag worms especially on those internet sites when you see the price of delivery but what can you do if that's the only way you can get it.
