Seafishingni Competition

Seafishingni is considering having a sponsored shore fishing competition, but we are getting mixed feelings from people we have asked regarding the difficulties of insurances and that. We would like to run a competition for a charity (still to be decided) and also for the purpose of trying to put faces to the names that have signed up to the main site and the Forum if successful we could run a boat competition in the future for the boat Anglers.

Now this is were we would like your help,   

As we are just recreational anglers wand don’t enter competitions and that, we are not sure of the rules and things like that, so advice on things like this would be great, also on the insurance thing, can any one advise on this or how we can get around it.

We would also like to use this day as a promotional day for Sea Angling in general and would like to ask if there is any of you out there (if it does happen) that would be interested in giving advice to the new comers young and old on casting, equipment, baits and that.

Please let us have your thoughts, any advice would be great, even on possible venues; I would prefer beaches rather than harbors and peirs for safety reasons for the juniors that may turn up.
